Integrated Weed Management with Stress Free Stockmanship

An introductory day on the wonderful world of weed eating – livestock style!  A chance to see how you can take Stockmanship skills and apply them in ways to change the behaviour of your animals so that they can expand their diet to include weeds.

Availability:   Australia – all year on demand.  For states other than NSW additional travel costs apply if not in conjunction with other course visits.

On-farm Individual Coaching

Practical training at your own place in your own facilities.  Problem solving with a personal touch, working on troublespots or difficult situations.  Includes the preparation of yard renovation plans and suggestions.

Availability:  Central West NSW – all year, other areas in conjunction with other course visits.

Price:  800 plus GST (up to 5 people in workteam – each additional person 100)

Researchers and Agency Development

Specialised coursework for staff, researchers and students involved in livestock and animal husbandry issues.  The two days covers the underpinning background research, interaction with livestock managers using the techniques and practical exercises. This will enable those working in studies with animals to actively de-stress animals so that they can express behaviours that lead to meaningful research results.

Seminar / Conference Speaking Engagements

Bruce has spoken from the National Press Club to outback sheds and everything in between to groups both large and small.  Speaking engagements to larger groups are an ideal way to begin spreading benefits of Stress Free approaches to wider audiences.  Attendance at any event can include multiple addresses both during the day and evening for the maximum assistance to the attendees.

De-Stressing People and Livestock

A specialised two day course aimed at local communities suffering drought/seasonal, government or external stressors.  This is a very special offering combining the Herding Without Hurting course and Herman’s Brain Index (HBDI) thinking styles learning.  A chance for people to get off their properties for a complete rejuvenating break from the pressures of difficult situations.  Designed as a circuit breaker with long term benefits for the people as they gain new abilities to communicate with others while reducing stress in their animals.  A women only option is also available for this course.

Price:  850 plus GST per person, plus travel/accommodation outside Central West NSW.
**Special note- These courses are aimed at agency/assistance bodies providing the funding totally or in part.  It is directed toward assisting individuals to relieve personal stress while providing a long term triple bottom line benefit (people, livestock business, landscape).

Yard Design Assistance and Efficiency Improvement

Individual yard design and improvement strategies.  Usually conducted on farm where video analysis of yard work is assessed to work on not only hardware improvements but also handler movements to improve efficiency.  Suited to large and small operations with particular relevance to feedlot or intensive businesses wishing to save large amounts on labour requirements.  A video and written report is included in the service.
